Earmuffs are made with sound-attenuating material and soft ear cushions that fit around hard outer cups and are held together with a headband. Semi-insert earplugs (bands) are not fully inserted into the ear canal like regular earplugs. These stay in place just over the ear canals by a rigid headband that connects the earplugs together. Cintas offers a wide variety of hearing protection devices to choose from to help you satisfy the OSHA requirements in 29 CFR 1910.95(i), "(3) Employees shall be given the opportunity to select their hearing protectors from a variety of suitable hearing protectors provided by the employer."
